I receive devotionals from Above Rubies in my mail, and I find them always very thought-provoking, heartfelt and challenging, and encouraging at the same time. Today’s topic was Part II of ‘Training Children to Speak”, which has very interesting tips on how to teach your children to speak well, and speak truth, and speak right.

Some time ago, a friend of mine recommended Above Rubies, a US-based Ministry for women to me as a good resource for encouraging reads. They have a print version magazine, but I’ve not gotten round to subscribing cos I somehow don’t think I can justify wasting another few trees for my type of readership. I do however, subscribe to their e-mail list, and get regular updates and devotionals sent to my inbox.
Today I got this in the mail, and I figured it’d be nice to share these updates on my blog. The person in question today is Manoah (yeah, like who in the world is he???), and I was blessed by the devotional, and reminded again about how important it is to start committing your child to the Lord, even in utero
